Technical requirements

Before installing WHS YouTube Downloader make sure you have the following requirements filled:

  • you have Windows Home Server 2011 installed with latest service packs and updates,
  • Windows Home Server 2011 works fine and has no problems,
  • you have administrator access to your home server (direct access or over Remote Desktop),
  • you have shared media libraries configured correctly,
  • your home server has port 8732 free (there is no programs and services that use this port).
